Scott Dodson

In 1994, Mr. Dodson founded Flying Rhino Studios, an advertising and marketing communications production firm. Mr. Dodson has worked closely with Wizards of the Coast on marketing, branding, and event projects since 1996. He brings a deep understanding of the marketing issues surrounding game products and pro-level gaming.Â
In 1993-1994 he was a corporate producer and writer for Butler Video Productions. In 1992-1993 he worked for Malcom Clark, Inc. Mr. Dodson is an active member and past president (2001-2002) of the Seattle Advertising Federation.Â
He studied engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (1984-1987) and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont in 1991. He has a passion for trading card games and years of international experience playing them. |

David Hoppe

Mr. Hoppe has worked extensively in the toy and game fields, with particular emphasis on the development of new business models for the selling and marketing of lifestyle and entertainment products. Mr. Hoppe founded Saltwater Client Services, a Seattle-based consulting firm, and has led successful engagements with several high profile entertainment companies including Upper Deck, the global distributor and marketer of Yu-Gi-Oh! under a multi-year arrangement.Â
Mr. Hoppe has worked with senior management to create branding and customer retention programs for Yu-Gi-Oh! as well as providing guidance on numerous new business initiatives for domestic and overseas markets. Prior to Saltwater, Mr. Hoppe worked for seven years with Wizards of the Coast, a division of Hasbro, Inc. As Senior Vice President of management teams for Wizards’ flagship products–including Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons.
Mr. Hoppe led the negotiation of many key licenses. These included deals with 20th Century Fox, NeoPets, Konami Entertainment and a joint-rights agreement for TV anime with KidsStation, TV Tokyo, Takara Co., and ShoPro Inc. of Japan. As Vice President for Site-Based Entertainment, David developed and managed innovative in-store marketing programs and activities for games, including programs for the NFL, Major League Baseball, NBA, Warner Bros., and LucasFilm.
He is a graduate of the MBA program at the University of Washington (1995), and holds a BA in political science from the University of Illinois (1987). |

Patrick Meehan

Mr. Meehan began his career as an art intern at SEGA in 1991 at the age of 15. His talent as an artist and animator led to a position at Nickelodeon Studios working on television shows from 1992 to 1994. In 1994 he enrolled at DigiPen, the premier school for video game programming in North America. He graduated at the top of his class in 1996 with a deep knowledge of the math, computer science and programming languages required to develop the next generation of 3D video games. He was immediately hired by Nintendo Technology Development as a Software Architect where he spent the next two and a half years of his career.Â
In 1999 he joined with the founders of Interactive Imagination as the Company’s Technical Director where he assembled his team and directed the Magi Nation video game. Upon launch, the game received consistently high ratings and landing on Amazon.com’s list of top 10 best sellers for 2001. Mr. Meehan left Interactive Imagination that year in order to commence development of The Spoils™. He also worked from 2002 to 2004 at Amaze Entertainment as a developer on Bandai’s Digimon Rumble Arena 2 (2004: Xbox, Playstation2, GameCube).Â
He resigned in 2004 to again pursue the development of The Spoils™ full time, traveling to Singapore in 2006 to establish Tenacious Games Asia and direct the production of the original concept art and illustrations assets for The Spoils™. |

Ed Liming

Mr. Liming is the tournament and event production advisor to TGI. A Partner in Millennium Arts since 1999, and Founder of Storybox Productions, he has been the primary provider of audio-visual and moving image communications to Wizards of the Coast since 1994.Â
He has produced nearly every ESPN2 broadcast of the Magic Professional Tour. Mr. Liming brings over 15 years experience on the business side of making movies, television and corporate video programming. |

Josh Lytle

Mr. Lytle is currently a Game Designer at Amaze Entertainment, a video game production company he joined in 2002 to work on games for Xbox, Playstation 2 and GameCube. Prior to that, he was a founding employee of Interactive Imagination from 1999 to 2001. He was the original designer of that company’s flagship product, a collectible trading card game called Magi-Nation Duel, a well received product that sold more than 12 million booster packs in its first six weeks on the market, achieving 3rd place in sales behind Magic and Pokemon.Â
Mr. Lytle also co-designed the Magi-Nation video game. Mr. Lytle began his career in the game industry as a tester for Squaresoft of America in 1995. Since 1996, he has participated in competitive Magic: The Gathering tournaments and has played on the Pro Tour.Â
He is currently a well-known strategy writer for leading independent Magic: The Gathering strategy publications and is nationally recognized as an expert in trading card game design. |

Dylan Mayo

Mr. Mayo will return to Tenacious Games from RealNetworks’ RealArcade, the industry leader in casual computer games. From late 2001 to the present Dylan has been involved with the technical development and testing of RealArcade’s services, as well as the acquisition and development of game properties at the Company. I
n 2000, Mr. Mayo worked at Interactive Imagination as a programmer and game designer, creating the battle engine and menu system for the Magi-Nation video game (2001, GameBoy Color), and working on card design for the Magi-Nation DUEL collectable card game. He left Interactive Imagination in 2001 to become a founder of Wishmaker Ltd., now Tenacious Games.Â
Mr. Mayo received a BS in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University in 2000, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Agents. He is an avid gamer, a fan of all manner of card games and tactical simulations. |
